The first thing I like to do in the morning is eat breafast. Then I like to play for a half hour. Then I do my daily school work Reading, Math, and Printing. I color in my favorite coloring book. Then I do Hidden Pictures in Highlights magazine.
On a Saturday morning I play with my iPad while I eat. Then a little later I go to the movies with my Dad. We get some popcorn and candy on the way. Later on when we come home from the movies I play Dragon City. Oh, I love that game! On Sunday Morning Neema gets me up early and gets me dressed for church. Then I eat breakast. We go to church in Jaffrey. The name of the church is: Saint Patricks. Sometimes in the afternoon I go walking the trails with Daddy, and Maddie. When I get home I am very tired. I like to relax by watching a movie. We have an early dinner. Then I take a shower and go to bed early. Ashleigh

In water beds. What do you call a cat that swims in the ocean? An octo-pus. Why did the two fish get married? Because they were hooking on to each other. What do beavers eat for breakfast? Oakmeal! Why did the monster eat a lamp? He wanted a light snack. What do ghosts eat for dinner? Spook-etti.What did one egg say to the other egg? "Better get cracking!'' Ashleigh One nice day I was bored. So I asked Maddie if she would like to take a walk with me. She said yes. So after the walk she asked if I would like to bake with her. I also said yes.
So After that I said would you like to have a sleep over in my room tonight. And she still said yes. So the next morning I asked maddie if she would like to eat with me. And she said yes. So after that we colored a pretty picture, and had a happy day. Ashleigh On Monday I'm having a party! I have already decorated a gate, leading to my tent. I have also put out pink and blue flowers. I still have some more planing to do.
I wrote a list on what is allowed, and what is not. Here are my rules. Everyone needs to wear their best outfit. No one can wear black, because it is my least favorite color. No sharp things, can be brought to the party and no one can wear jewelry. Finally, no pillows and blankets are allowed, because It is not a sleep over. Ashleigh One Day I was Jumping up, and down with my jump rope under the trees. A little later, I put my jump rope down and started to run up and down the hill. Then I ran inside my house and got some bubbles to blow outside. A few minutes later, I got my skooter, and rode it up and down. Finally, I went inside to have a rest! It is fun to play outside when the weather is nice!
Ashleigh I color a lot in my coloring books. I just finished a picture. Want to have a guess about which picture I just finished? I finished a puppy called ''Cinnapup''. It is found in my ''Strawberry Shortcake'' coloring book. I placed a picture of Cinnapup below.
Ashleigh These final 3 "things" are not quotes, but thoughts of my own that I am choosing to bring forth without inspiration. These are the final 3 things that I believe so many adults have forgotten.
I'm not even going to mark these off with numbers. I believe that too many adults have forgotten the sensation of being young. Too many have forgotten the days where grades didn't matter as much as time spent with friends, and the times where young love seemed to be filled with hope. Too many have forgotten the rush of late nights and the thrill of adventures never told to parents. Too many of you have entirely forgotten that time when you're young is extremely precious. You only have ONE chance to be young, one chance to make your own mistakes. You're only given one chance to create the stories you will someday tell your children. You've forgotten that not all kids are horrible examples. Some of us are very innocent. Just because some of us make poor decisions... it doesn't define the rest of us. We don't all want to throw late-night parties or sneak out to get drunk and stoned. We don't all want to waste our lives pointlessly. Sometimes, when we hang out, we just want to laugh and enjoy each other's company- not do illegal things. Sometimes, we just want to talk shit about that ONE annoying person that no one likes. Sometimes, just sometimes- we just want to be allowed to sit outside at 3 am and watch the stars while talking with our close friends. Right now, I want every adult to close their eyes and for just one moment, let go of every adult thing about them. Just try to remember what things were like when you were a teenager- without any adult biases. What were your dreams and goals then? What did you want more than anything? What did your parents never know? What memories did you make to tell your kids and more importantly, what lessons did you learn to pass on? Don't even tell me in the comments. Just think about it. - Maddie If I had a beard my beard would be fuzzy, just like daddy's. People might think i look weird with a beard. I would not look like a girl if I had a beard. I could shave my beard and then I would look like a girl again. If I had a beard, I would want it to grow really long!
Ashleigh Jungle Book was the coolest movie! King Louie sings ''Now I'm the King of the Swingers whoa! The Jungle VIP. I've reached the top and I had to stop and that's what's bothering me! O! ooby doo ooby doo! I want to be like you oo oo ooby dooby doo doo, I want to walk like you, talk like you oo! oo! oo! And that is all I know of the song. It is so cool!
Ashleigh Today I'm writing about my Bouncy Ball. I sit on it and bounce on the ball all around the house, kitchen and living room. I play with Dad by rolling it to him. Oh what great fun we have.
Ashleigh Today I'm writing about The Song of Big mouth Billy Bass. He is mounted on a plaque. You turn it on and he sings two songs. ''I want to know, can you help me?'' ''Take Me To The River And Put Me In The Water''. The other one is ''Don't Worry Be Happy''. The little songs make people laugh because the head of the fish and his tail moves.
Ashleigh "My image of me is not at all your image of me." That's a quote by Alan Watts. "Who is Alan Watts?" you might ask. He was a philosopher who died in the early '70's whose claim to fame was that he popularized eastern philosophy for a western audience. He wrote The Way of Zen, one of the first best-selling books on Buddhism. I like the quote above because it is true. No one knows you better than yourself, and yet, oftentimes people will be their own worst critics. Sometimes it seems that we are only able to see the negatives about ourselves in a clear light while the good points are obscured until someone points them out to us. Why is it that the person we should know the best, is the person we sometimes know the least about. Why is it so hard for some of us to convey our own good qualities? A while back I put up a profile on Zoosk.com ... a dating site. On your home page, they have you write a little something about yourself, which will hopefully help to let someone know a little bit about you and make you sound appealing. Well, I just went back and read mine and I am ashamed to say that I don't even think I sound interesting. To be honest, after reading my "Story" I don't even think I would like to meet myself! What I wrote is below. I will give my self assessment afterward. I live in Rindge and I work out of my home, I have two daughters, 14 and 6. I home school both of my daughters. I train in the martial arts a couple times a week and help teach the little ninja classes twice a week. I am a 2nd degree blackbelt, as is my oldest daughter. We take our training seriously. I like to fish hike and go canoeing. I am not a big fan of TV. I prefer to read or to watch a movie on DVD. I like to go to the movies and concerts, and I love to take my daughters to museums. I also like flea markets and antique stores. I am a good cook, although I prefer to use a grill rather than the stove. I am not a vegetarian and while I can cook vegetables, I much prefer to cook a nice steak. I do not smoke or drink and preferably, you don't either. My ex-wife died in August, 2013 due to complications from alcoholism thus heavy drinkers and party girls need not apply. Part Two I am looking for someone who isn't into partying, likes children and doesn't feel the need to go out every night. While an appreciation of the martial arts or the willingness to learn isn't a necessity, it would be nice to find someone who actually does. Like most people I like to laugh and to make others laugh. A good sense of humor would be welcome. Aside from that, I am open to meeting new people. I have been out of the dating scene for over 17 years so it will be nice to meet new types of people. Well, there it is. While everything I said in the blurb there is true, I personally don't see anything there that anybody will latch onto and say, Wow, I'd really like to meet that guy! It is short and blunt and leaves nothing to the imagination... and nothing to build a dream on. Who really cares if I am a good cook? It's true, but no one really gives a shit. I don't drink, so I likely cut off about 80% of the eligible women with that statement. Moreover, two to four times a week I have basically said that I am either going to go and hit and kick things or teach kids how to properly hit and kick things.
I despise TV. Yep, that's gonna win me a lot of hearts.I like to read... so go amuse yourself for a few hours while I read this book! Well is there anything else? Well, now that you mention it, I said I like to go to the movies or concerts, but I never said what kind of movies I like or what type of music I like. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if women thought I'd probably like to sit through a night of chamber music... or maybe the chanting monks! So what could I have written that may have made me sound more enticing? Only things that either won't win me any friends, or things that are only partially true. For instance, while I love to go to rock concerts and have seen hundreds of bands, most of those were from when I was younger. My schedule only allows me to get out only so often. In fact, over the past two years I have seen only six bands... and four of those were on the same night! Yikes! So what else? I like to have deep discussions on a broad range of topics... economics, philosophy, psychology. In fact, when I can't find people to talk about these things with, I will write about them three to five times a week on my blog. I have my daughters write on the blog too, so you can basically see where the whole family is coming from! If you are looking for a snappy dresser, then I am not your man! I prefer jeans and a t shirt. I do know how to dress up. But after twenty years in a suit, I came to find I am most comfortable in jeans and a T. Shaving is optional in my world. There is a 90% chance that I won't shave on any given day. I will scrape it off every once in a while, particularly if we are doing something where it i expected that I don't look like the unabomber. Note, though, that I do prefer women who shave their legs and armpits. Women with bodies hairier than mine are a dealbreaker! Yep, I bet my new revised write up is just gonna win me a lot of hearts. Okay, folks, here's an assignment... particularly if you are a long-time reader. Write me up a story line that you think can win me favor with the roulette wheel of Zoosk! Try to make it honest! It can be funny or serious. Believe me, I will be amused by all of them. If one of them is really eye catching. I'll use it for my storyline on Zoosk. I am not a subscriber by the way, I just have a free account. I figure I can sign up quickly if someone catches my eye. That's me on the right. Today I'm going to talk about the Renaissance Fair. Yesterday I went to the Renaissance Fair. First I had breakfast at McDonald's. Then my Dad drove my sister, her friend and me to the Fair. There I met a friendly horse named Storm. He let me pet him and gave me a big kiss on my face. I saw many shows. I also ate lots and lots of cotton candy and pizza.
Ashleigh Today I blew bubbles outside. I used a large bubble stick to make many bubbles. I don't play with regular bubbles a lot. I just like to play with large bubble sticks. It is a fun thing to do on a warm afternoon!
Ashleigh Today I'm going to talk about bugs. I hate bugs except the daddy long legs. I have a book about bugs it is called ''Lets Look At Bugs''. It has pictures of bugs such as spiders, beetles and earth worms. The book tells me what all of the bugs look like.
Ashleigh Tomorrow, I have a karate tournament. It is in Franconia, New Hampshire. The tournament is called ''the Flight of the Crane Championship. I hope to win a trophy. I will be competing in sparring and forms.
Ashleigh Today I'm going to talk about The circus. We went to the circus on Saturday. We liked the camels and the elephants. The funniest part of the show was when the clowns started to chase each other. I laughed so hard! Before the show started I took a little ride on the train they had set up at the side of the ring.
Ashleigh Today was pretty fun- I got to go to the circus for the first time in my entire life! I know, I know... I'm 14 and that was my first time. But in a way I think it made it all the more memorable; especially since I got to see how my sister reacted to it as well. In the beginning, I was quite panicky and a little bit grumpy. The reasoning for this was due to the fact that my dad miraculously somehow got us FIRST ROW SEATS- literally a foot or so away from the edge of the ring where the show was taking place. Initially, I thought it would be too loud and that there'd be too many people- but in the end; the seats were awesome as I was able to get plenty of awesome photos close up. Something both my dad and I noted was that we were so close to the acts that we could almost get a feel for the personality of the people! You could tell who was nervous, who was more experienced, who really threw themselves into the show, and especially; who's eyes lit up most at the applause of the crowd. Of all the acts shown; I must say that my favorite acts were the acrobats and the aerial performers. Some of the flips and stunts they could pull really left me speechless- and terrified. Some of these people were hanging in midair with nothing but a sash tied to their waist keeping them up; all the while twirling, dancing, and pulling incredible poses. It was insane and a very fun experience. I must say; some of the women you'll see performing definitely give inspiration to get into better shape! The physique on them was CRAZY; even considering that they likely practice for hours a day. In any case, I think that ties up my post... all in all, it was an amazing day and I'm glad I got to experience it with my family. For anyone interested in seeing the same show; it was the Garden Bros. Circus. I'd highly recommend it- just be sure to eat before going as the concessions are EXTREMELY over-priced. - Maddie I love having Parties. I throw a lot of parties. Today I'm having a party. It's an Easter party
It will include finding Easter eggs. My Dad and Neema usually come to my parties. Ashleigh Today I am going to talk about the Circus. We are going to the Circus in April! The family is coming:
Daddy, Maddie, me, and Neema. We are going to eat cotton candy, hot dogs, and popcorn. I can't wait! I am so excited. We will see animals, clowns, and high - wire acts. Ashleigh |
