Its fur is from dark to reddish brown to cream toned. Black bears are one of the more common species in North America. They live in many different habitats, and are not picky about what they eat. Their smell gives them much information about the foods they are going to eat. Polar bears live in the Arctic territories of North America and Eurasia. Their habitat includes both land and sea ice.
