Growing up, all of us are told to follow our dreams. To set goals and strive for them, to achieve whatever we put our minds to and have faith in ourselves. Our parents teach us that hard work and commitment is the secret to getting places; that a good education is required and that a certain skill level must be achieved in order to reach your dreams... but what if your dreams are simple?
Of course, everyone has a dream job, a dream car, or some such dream. But personally? My biggest "dream" and goal in life is to simply live happily and spread positivity. That's my biggest goal. That aside, I'd love to become a psychologist- which would take 6 years of college. But it's not my biggest goal. To me, that's just an occupation I'd enjoy and pass time with. I'd much rather live happily and have a good life. The quote states that you must give everything to make your dreams a reality... and that seems so wrong to me. If the dreams you're chasing require you to sacrifice everything; than I am concerned for you and what you may be dreaming of. My own dream requires that I only give up negativity and things that drag me down... not anything like my family, money, or even time, really. The way I see it, time spent happy is not a waste of time. Material possessions and jobs are simply bits and pieces of life that anyone can attain. Happiness is a way of life, a state of mind... and the quality of your life. Not everyone can achieve it- not everyone wants to. Some people are so poor that all they have is money. I think life is a lot richer than that and can be greatly enhanced by happiness... at no cost to myself (or others). What is your dream? Please leave me a comment, I'm quite curious. Maddie

My owl blanket is very soft. It is a very big blanket and has a picture of an owl on it. The blanket shows an owl's face. When I'm really cold I run to the living room, I jump on the couch and roll up in my blanket. It makes me warm up again.
