Daddy is turning 53 soon! I am going to surprise him. His birthday is February 23. I am going to set up a little party for him like last year. I have a note book so he can write notes and stuff like that. I also have his harmonica.

Karate is fun but is also a good way to protect yourself. If you want to sigh up just call 532-2400.
I am a brown belt. The belt colors are: white, yellow, orange, purple, blue, green, brown and black. They rank how good you are. There are a lot of forms, theirs sparing, stretching which is at the beginning of class. It is a great sport and fun. Ashleigh I got a drone for my birthday! A lot of people have drones but i din't and i got one. It is black with a black controler and wire. I haven't tried it out yet but still i promise i will make my next blog post a lot long. I just wanted to give you an update of how i was doing.
Ashleigh It’s not a herd of unicorns—it’s a pod of narwhals! This species of whale is best known for its tusk—a long, spiraled tooth that sticks out of the whales head, that usually only the males develop. (Females sometimes do.) The tusk can grow to 9 feet (aka 3 meters) long and weigh more than 22 pounds (aka 10 kilograms).
Narwhals normally tend to eat squid, shrimp, rock fish, flounder, and crab. Narwals mostly roam Canada, Greenland, Norway, and Russia. Narwhals's tusk is filled with holes allowing sea water to enter. It also can help a Narwhal by seeing if there are vibrations coming at it, helping it to find food. Ashleigh I had a dream last night that is very scary. It's about a game i played once and it was hard.
At the very start of the dream i saw what daddy was thinking. It showed a coffin with what looked like slenderena. The next thing i know daddy was chilling on his bed. I had goals like: turn on the heater, get to the top story of our house, but most important... don't get tagged by slenderena. She chased me, but then heard daddy and ran upstairs to tag him. Soon, I heard daddy say: Another one? I didn't have a lot of places to hide, so i just hid behind the black chair. I heard her come into the room and cackle. The dream ended, and i woke up on my bed, ready for a brand new day. Ashleigh Water lilies, and surface lily pads can cover areas of water as deep as six feet. When are in non-native habitats, water lilies can sometimes shade the water and make it too cold for some native species of fish and plants.
Water lilies are only found in shallow water , and still fresh water. Their are 70 kinds of water lilies. Ashleigh Cozmo is a little robot i got for Christmas. He took a super long time to set up and get charged. But still... It was worth it! He can say your name, lift, stack, place and flip cubes. The box he comes in also includes: three cubes, a charger, a little booklet which tells you how to set him up, and Cozmo.
He loves to play games like quick tap, memory match, and keep away. You can make him say things, and control his emotions! Ashleigh I learned that i got a drum set and drum lessons for my birthday. How did i find out you ask, well guess what i found out in the big office. Some drums! Then daddy told me i will try drum lessons on MY BIRTHDAY! I hope i make friends there and have fun. Maybe I will do a small consert if i get good enough.
Ashleigh Dragonflies are some of the most colorful insects around, and come in a variety of different colors. They can also vary in size, as well. With over 5,000 species of this insect, they certainly do not all look exactly the same. Generally speaking, the dragonfly has six legs (like all insects), a thorax, head, and an abdomen.
Out of the 5,000 species of dragonflies that exist, only 450 reside in the United States. Although the dragonfly has six legs, they aren’t the best at walking. They are, however, excellent at flying. They can fly very fast, at speeds of 30 miles per hour – this makes them some of the fastest flying insects in the entire world. Dragonflies also have the neat ability of being able to fly backwards. Dragonflies live in many different places throughout the world, but they are most commonly found in warmer climates near the water. They start their lives in water, so it is very common to find dragonflies near rivers, swamps, lakes, ponds, and streams. Ashleigh Giant pandas (often referred to as simply “pandas”) are black and white bears. In the wild, they are found in thick bamboo forests, high up in the mountains of central China. These magnificent mammals are omnivores. But whilst pandas will occasionally eat small animals and fish, bamboo counts for 99 percent of their diet.
Pandas are BIG eaters – every day they fill their tummies for up to 12 hours, shifting up to 12 kilograms of bamboo! The giant panda’s scientific name is Ailuropoda melanoleuca, which means “black and white cat-foot”. Giant pandas grow to between 1.2m and 1.5m, and weigh between 75kg and 135kg. Scientists aren’t sure how long pandas live in the wild, but in captivity they live to be around 30 years old.Baby pandas are born pink and measure about 15cm– that’s about the size of a pencil! They are also born blind and only open their eyes six to eight weeks after birth. Ashleigh Earth is the 4th smallest smallest plant. It is the only planet that has an atmosphere containing 21 percent oxygen. It is the only planet that has liquid water on its surface. It is the only planet in the solar system that has life.
Unlike the other planets in the Solar System, in English, Earth does not directly share a name with an ancient Roman deity. The name Earth derives from the eighth century Anglo-Saxon word erda, which means ground or soil. It became eorthe later, and then erthe in Middle English. Earth is Mostly Iron, Oxygen and Silicon. 70% of the Earth's Surface is Covered in Water. Ashleigh My birthday is on Jan 18, and i'm turning 9 years-old. I already know one of my presents. Daddy got me a video game and you can build your own zoo! I am super excited because it is like a second Christmas. But this is the last birthday with Maddie my sister for a while because she is going to college for 3 years. I probable wil see her for coffee or somthing. By the way, i hope you all had a merry Christmas or Hanukkah. And i hope you all had a good year.
Ashleigh The Moon (or Luna as some people call it) is the Earth's only natural satellite and was formed 4.6 billion years ago around some 30–50 million years after the formation of the solar system. The Moon is in synchronous rotation with Earth meaning the same side is always facing the Earth.
Tides on Earth are caused mostly by the moon (the sun has a smaller effect). Here's how it works: The moon's gravity pulls on Earth's oceans. China's National Space Administration landed a rover on the far side of the moon and are testing if they can grow stuff on the moon. If it is possible, maybe people will be able to live on the moon. The plants have to be planted in a structure because plants need carbine dioxide, and people have carbine dioxide, and plants have Oxygen. So it's one for the other. Ashleigh The 89 species of chameleons live in jungles like Madagascar and Africa, south of the Sahara. Two types of chameleon occur in western Asia, one in southern India and Sri Lanka and the European chameleon which lives in the Near East westward along the North Africa Coast and into southern coastal Spain.
Chameleon skin is a layer and under the layer are cells with guanine crystals. Chameleons change the color of their skin by adjusting the space between the guanine crystals, which changes the wavelength of light reflected off the crystals. Chameleons usually eat large insects such as locusts, grasshoppers, crickets, andstick insects, some bigger species also eat other lizards and young birds. Chameleons aren't deaf but they don't have ear holes. Ashleigh The eighty nine species of chameleons mostly live in Madagascar and Africa, south of the Sahara. Two species occur in western Asia, one in southern India and Sri Lanka and the European chameleon that lives in the Near eats westward on the North Africa Coast and into southern coastal Spain. Chameleon skin includes a superficial layer that contains pigments, and below the layer are cells with guanine crystals. Chameleons are not deaf but they do not actually have ear openings. Ashleigh Just so you know, Micky mouse wasn't a thing when Pluto was found so if your thinking of pluto from micky mouse, your wrong... Pluto is named after the Greek god of the underworld.
Pluto was made a dwarf planet in 2006. Pluto was found on February 18th 1930 by Lowell Observatory. Pluto has 5 known moons. Pluto is the largest dwarf planet. Pluto rotates a lot more slowly than Earth therefor, a day on Pluto is 6.4 Earth days or 153.3 hours long. So depending on how fast we are with position and speed, time can appear to move faster or slower to us relative to others in a different part of space-time. Which Astronauts on the International Space Station, that means they get to age just a tiny bit slower than people on Earth. That's because of time-dilation effects. Pluto orbits about 3 billion miles (4.8 billion kilometers) from the sun on average — very far away, but not so distant that the dwarf planet is immersed in continuous darkness. To an observer on Pluto's surface, the sun would be about 1,000 times dimmer than it is here on Earth. Ashleigh |
